Guideway Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026 This Privacy Policy explains how Guideway collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our mentorship marketplace. 1. Information we collect We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, profile details, education or professional information, mentor credentials, availability, booking details and communications. We also collect basic technical information such as device, browser, IP address and service usage data. 2. How we use information We use information to create and secure accounts, connect students and mentors, process bookings and payments, schedule sessions, send service notifications, provide support, prevent fraud, improve Guideway and comply with legal obligations. 3. Google account and Calendar data If you sign in with Google, we receive the account information Google authorizes, such as your name, email address and profile image. For confirmed paid bookings, Guideway may create a Google Calendar event and Google Meet link using the administrator's connected calendar and invite the student and mentor. We do not use Google user data for advertising and do not sell it. 4. Payments Payments are processed by Razorpay. Guideway does not store complete card, bank-account or UPI credentials. Razorpay processes payment information under its own privacy policy. 5. How we share information We share only the information required to provide the service: relevant booking and profile details between the participating student and mentor, event details with Google Calendar, and transaction details with Razorpay. We may also use service providers for hosting, authentication, email, analytics, security and support, or disclose information when required by law. 6. Data retention and security We retain information for as long as needed to operate Guideway, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. 7. Your choices and rights You may update certain account information in Guideway. You may also request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You can revoke Google account access from your Google Account permissions at any time. 8. Children's privacy Guideway may be used by students under 18 only with involvement and consent from a parent or legal guardian where required. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. 9. Updates to this policy We may update this Privacy Policy as Guideway and applicable requirements evolve. The current version and its last-updated date will be published on this page. 10.
